Professional with more than 20 years of experience in Tourism, she developed her professional career for fifteen years as Financial, HR and Quality Manager at the Silken Hotel Chain, specifically at the Silken Atlántida Hotel in the capital of Tenerife, while combining her work as a collaborating professor in the ULL Master of Tourism for 4 years.
Melwani held the position of Councilor for Tourism of the Puerto de la Cruz City Council between 2015 and 2019, when the municipality was in the process of rehabilitation and tourist repositioning. Firmly promoting public-private collaboration as a governance model to promote important projects for the municipality.
