With a broad professional career in the tourism sector and academic background in Law, which qualifies me as a lawyer, providing me with a solid foundation to address the legal and regulatory challenges inherent in the tourism and business sectors, I have established myself as a
professional passionate about sustainable development, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the field of tourism.
Since 2022, I have been serving as a Mentor for the Best Tourism Village Program of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). Throughout this period, I have had the honor of supporting the sustainable tourism development of various localities, including Cantavieja (Spain), Ordino
(Andorra), Capulalpam (Mexico), Fontainhas (Cape Verde), Ferrarias (Portugal), and Istebna (Poland).
In 2023, my contribution to the Market Integration and Socioeconomic Development Program of the Macaronesia Region (INTEGRA) was significant in providing Technical Assistance to the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Canary Islands. I highlight my work in promoting the “Macaronesia Exchange Program” and organizing the event “Macaronesia Network for the Exchange of Knowledge and Experiences in Sustainable Tourism.”
As Co-Founder and CEO of SmartLinking since 2015, I lead an international consultancy in areas such as entrepreneurship, sustainability, internationalization, and tourism. A notable achievement was the award, in November 2019, of the technical feasibility and economic
profitability study for the creation of a memorial and tourist park in Agadir, Morocco, replicating the neighborhoods of the city destroyed by the 1960 earthquake.
Additionally, since December 2016, I have been Co-Founder and CEO of Senda Ecoway SL, a technological platform focused on the sale of signature tourism experiences. This tourism product offering platform only offers experiences that stand out for their local authenticity and differentiated leisure that promotes land conservation. Furthermore, Senda offsets the CO2 footprint of the experiences and works by carefully selecting its environmentally committed suppliers.
My commitment to business development is reflected in my regular role as an Accredited Mentor by Red Mentoring Spain, the entrepreneurship network of the Tenerife government and CEOE. In addition to mentoring startups, SMEs, and mentor training.
Between 2012 and 2019, I held the position of Executive President of the TURISFERA Tourism Innovation Cluster in Tenerife. I have also been a senior consultant in destinations for the Canarias Aporta program of Proexca between 2016 and 2019.
My professional trajectory has been enriched with management and representation positions in organizations such as the ALF Foundation group for circular economy, technological innovation, and sustainable tourism, Tenerife Health International Services THIS, Skin
Producciones AIE, the European Institute of Social, Business and Innovative Studies, and PUEBLOCHICO, Villas and Villages of Tenerife, S.L.
My commitment is to drive projects that promote sustainable tourism, encourage innovation in the sector, and advocate for circular economy and technological integration to generate a positive impact on tourist destinations.
